Booking Terms, Conditions & House Rules
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all bookings made with Galloway Glamping. By confirming a reservation, the lead guest accepts these Terms on behalf of all members of their party.
1. Booking & Payment
1.1 Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.
1.2 A booking is only confirmed once payment has been received and written confirmation has been issued.
1.3 The lead guest must be at least 18 years of age and is responsible for ensuring all guests comply with these Terms.
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1 Cancellations made **30 days or more prior to check-in** will receive a full refund.
2.2 Cancellations made **between 7 and 30 days prior to check-in** will receive a 50% refund.
2.3 Cancellations made **within 7 days of check-in** are non-refundable.
2.4 Refunds are issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
2.5 Amendments to bookings are subject to availability and at the discretion of Galloway Glamping.
3. Check-in & Check-out
3.1 Check-in is from 16:00 on the day of arrival.
3.2 Check-out is by 10:00 on the day of departure.
3.3 Early check-in or late check-out may be available by prior agreement and may incur additional charges.
3.4 Failure to vacate by the stated check-out time may result in additional charges.
4. Occupancy & Visitors
4.1 Only the number of guests stated in the booking are permitted to stay at the property.
4.2 No additional visitors are permitted on-site without prior written consent.
4.3 Galloway Glamping reserves the right to terminate a booking without refund if occupancy limits are exceeded.
5. Noise & Conduct
5.1 Guests must conduct themselves in a respectful manner at all times.
5.2 Quiet hours are between 23:00 and 07:00.
5.3 Excessive noise, anti-social behaviour, or disturbance to neighbours or wildlife may result in immediate termination of the stay without refund.
6. Smoking & Vaping
6.1 Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside all cabins.
6.2 Evidence of smoking indoors may result in additional cleaning or damage charges.
7. Pets
7.1 A maximum of two (2) pets are permitted per booking, subject to prior approval.
7.2 A £50 pet fee per pet, per stay applies.
7.3 Pets must not be left unattended in the cabin.
7.4 Pets are not permitted on furniture or beds.
7.5 Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and for any damage caused.
8. Fire, BBQ & Outdoor Cooking Equipment
8.1 BBQs, fire pits, and pizza ovens must only be used in accordance with provided instructions.
8.2 Fires must never be left unattended.
8.3 All equipment must be fully extinguished and cooled before being covered or stored.
8.4 Only approved fuels may be used.
8.5 Galloway Glamping reserves the right to restrict use of fire-related equipment during adverse weather or high-risk conditions.
9. Hot Tub Use
9.1 Use of the hot tub is at the guest’s own risk.
9.2 Children must be supervised at all times.
9.3 Glassware is not permitted in or around the hot tub.
9.4 Guests must follow all safety and hygiene guidance provided.
9.5 Galloway Glamping accepts no liability for injury, illness, or loss arising from misuse.
10. Water Safety (Loch Ken)
10.1 The property is located adjacent to open water.
10.2 Guests acknowledge the inherent risks associated with water.
10.3 Children must be supervised at all times near the loch.
10.4 Swimming and water activities are undertaken entirely at the guest’s own risk.
11. Property Care & Damage
11.1 Guests must take reasonable care of the property and its contents.
11.2 The property must be left in a clean and tidy condition.
11.3 Guests are liable for any damage, loss, or excessive cleaning required during their stay.
11.4 Galloway Glamping reserves the right to charge for repairs, replacements, or additional cleaning.
12. Liability
12.1 Guests occupy the property at their own risk.
12.2 Galloway Glamping shall not be liable for:
* Loss or damage to personal belongings
* Injury, illness, or accidents occurring during the stay
* Events beyond reasonable control (including weather, utilities, or access issues)
12.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
13. Right to Refuse or Terminate
13.1 Galloway Glamping reserves the right to refuse a booking or terminate a stay without refund where these Terms are breached.
13.2 Immediate termination may occur in cases of:
* Unauthorised visitors
* Excessive noise or anti-social behaviour
* Damage or misuse of property
14. Acceptance of Terms
14.1 By confirming a booking, the lead guest confirms acceptance of these Terms on behalf of all members of the party.
